Average Sat Scores for Math

Time Range: 2008       Resolution: Schools - Averaged to District

SAT scores are reported for the previous school year's graduating class. The average score is the mean of the scores obtained on the test component being measured. The ceiling for each component is a score of 600.


SAT math scores measures students’ academic skill level in math and their potential for future educational opportunities. A higher math score increases the likelihood of admission to college, leading to future employment opportunities and higher income. These three components together have a powerful effect on health1.
