Michael Knapp

Context Engineer · Founder & CEO, Sedoha

I'm a context engineer building AI-native systems that learn which strategies actually move outcomes. It's the through-line across everything I do: my company Sedoha, my writing at Seedwork, and twenty-five years of work in public health informatics. The common thread is closing the feedback loop between what we do and whether it works, a loop that has been broken in social impact for decades.

What I'm working on

Different domains, one through-line.

Sedoha

My company. AI-native impact accounting: a chart of accounts that makes social and environmental outcomes comparable across organizations, and the engine that learns which strategies produce them.

Seedwork

My writing on AI-native methodology and context engineering. Cultivation over construction. Home of the manifesto and the seeds.

Public Health Informatics

A long track record turning health and social data into tools communities can use, while protecting privacy. Yale PhD in environmental health, with a focus on spatial and social-science statistics.

Civic & Community

Board member at the Brattleboro Area Jewish Community and the Native Plant Trust. Member of the Guilford Planning Commission.

The loop between what we do and whether it works has been broken for decades. I'm working on closing it.
